Our Story - Beetsha Plains Camp

Our Story

Beetsha Plains Camp is a Maun-based mobile safari company created for travellers who want more than a conventional lodge stay. We believe the best way to experience Botswana is to move with it – following the wildlife, the seasons, and the rhythms of the bush.

Our mobile camps are set up in carefully selected locations across the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai Concession, Savuti, and Chobe National Park. Each safari is crafted to feel personal, authentic, and deeply connected to the land.

What Is Mobile Camping?

Mobile camping means the camp moves with you. Instead of staying in one fixed lodge, you travel through Botswana’s wildest areas while a dedicated camp team sets up comfortable tents ahead of you. You arrive to a fully prepared camp, enjoy a hot shower, a delicious meal, and a night under the stars – then continue your journey the next day.

This style of safari offers:

  • Access to remote, wildlife-rich areas.
  • Greater flexibility and privacy.
  • A deeper connection to nature.
  • Lower environmental impact than permanent lodges.
  • A true sense of adventure without sacrificing comfort.
